"My name is Nathalie Dufaux and I’m the English teacher of 4ème B. When I read about the project, I found it extremely interesting and I decided to enroll my students. In our school, students can choose to have two extra-hours of English a week. This optional class is called “classe euro”. During these two hours, we do a lot of oral work. I thought that the “Concours Avenir-Métiers” would make them work on something different and extremely interesting. Thanks to the contest, they would be able to learn more about a company which is set up in the country where they live.
With the group, we discussed about the companies we could choose for the project and we decided that it could be interesting to learn more about chocolate. So, we contacted the manager of the Heidi company who invited us to come and visit his factory. We had a great time during the visit and also working on the website.
I’m always fascinated to see how talented my students are. It was great to see how gifted they all are. The entire group was really motivated and we had a great time working on the Heidi project, but also little time as well, as we visited the company mid-March."
