LOCATION

Romania is an Eastern European country and a member of the European Union.

Here is where we are, in Bucharest !

        ROMANIA !

This is the princely church of Curtea de Argeș, which has become a Unesco World Heritage site due to its magnificent wall paintings.

This is the country where we live...

This photo shows a typical Romanian countryside scene.

Romania is an amazing country which is not yet highly developed.

This is one of many Romanian traditional houses.

But Romania can also claim beauties and rare monuments which belong to the Unesco World Heritage.

This picture shows the Episcopal Church of Curtea de Argeș which attracts numerous foreign and nationals visitors.

                                 BUCHAREST !

Bucharest is the city we live in, a city which has recently been changing from day to day. Many foreign countries have decided to set up their businesses in Romania after the revolution which took place in 1989. One of the reasons for that is that they could find a qualified labour force and many Romanian people who are able to speak English and French fluently and who are very good at scienceAnother reason is that the labour force is cheaper here.

Bucharest is a city of contrasts in which you find a mix of old and very modern buildings.

In 1994, the Heidi Company opened in Pantelimon, a district of Bucharest.

At the time the district wasn't yet developed, so the setting up of the business was a sort of charity action achieved by three Swiss investors. The situation has changed a lot since then, and many other companies have set up their businesses here.

This is the Tuborg beer factory, set up next to the Heidi factory.
